A Funny Thing on the Way to Heaven
Too Much Padding
Taylor goes on and on about himself and does the longest, most convoluted story setups I have ever heard. In the first three chapters, which are very long, he only told a couple of brief experiences not even close to being worth the wait. Listening to those chapters was like wading through waist high garbage to find a couple of pennies. I decided life is too short and shut it off.

intriguing look into spirits
Great book! Interesting ideas. I loved the personal stories and the tone he writes his books.

I love Corey Taylor...witty, intelligent, brash.
Corey is not afraid to speak his mind but unlike many of his contemporaries he actually backs up his beliefs with sound logic, data and research to make his point. His style and delivery are spot on and entertaining making the reader wanting to know more about the twisted and brilliant mind of the masked lead screamer from Slipknot. Who knew the boy had the ability to string together a series of grammatically correct sentences let alone keep your interest captivated for hours on end? Well done Mr. Taylor, well done!

Not offended easy?, this book is for you.
Where does A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven rank among all the audiobooks you've listened to so far?
I would totally give it a 5/5, good detail, and great story.
What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?
I got to say when he can be serious for one minute then be completely hilarious the next.
Which character – as performed by Corey Taylor – was your favorite?
I gotta say his neighbor that is a fan of his apparently stealing his rake just so he can get Corey's autograph, I died.
If you could give A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven a new subtitle, what would it be?
Warning, if you are offended easy, this is not for you, period.
Any additional comments?
I got to say that Corey Taylor's work has always been great, all though Seven Deadly Sins is still my favorite book by his, this is still a good read.

Entertaining but underwhelming
I love Corey Taylor but unfortunately this book overall fell a little flat for me.

Damn fine book
Honestly this is the first Corey Taylor book I have picked up. Picked it up on a whim expecting it to be more of a pop corn book. Turned out to be not exactly what I was expecting but that was a good thing...Will have to check out his others.

meh
enjoyed two other books from Corey a lot. This one i turned off about 3/4 through and this was during a road trip. stories never really go anywhere and weren't as interesting as I hope. also with every minute about a paranormal story there's 2 minutes dedicated to why he thinks ghosts are real but no religion..after a while it was like alright..I got it...felt like he was almost worried about the religion backlash or something which is out of character

Fascinating read/listen.
I absolutely loved this book and Corey's hypothesis of "intelligent energy", and would like nothing more than to discuss it further. Furthermore, I could not recommend it enough to believers and skeptics alike.
Thank you Corey, now I know what I want to write my first book about.
